Experience the harmonious blend of hardscapes and lush landscapes in our latest project designed for a South Florida rainforest-themed home, inspired by Asia’s rainforests. This beautiful yet highly functional design provides our client with a serene escape from the intrusive South Florida summer heat, crafting a sub-tropical oasis that maximizes shade while minimizing oppressive temperatures and sun glare. We created an illusion of deep, expansive space using strategically placed plants, making the 2.5-acre property feel much larger, akin to a 10-acre lot. Surrounding the perimeter are multi-layered privacy hedges that offer rainforest-like depth and seclusion, effectively blocking sounds and views from neighboring properties and roadways. The landscape is low-maintenance and easy-care, featuring flora chosen for self-propagation to ensure maximum privacy and lushness. Additionally, resilient plants suited for areas prone to flooding or drought have been selected, ensuring sustainability throughout the space.
